I choose to photograph one of the willow tree in my neighborhood nature center. When taking the picture I didn't want other plants in the background because it was creating to much noise and taking away the tree beauty. The photograph "weeping willow" I put majority of the tree in frame, to allude that the tree is crying and being pulled down; editing I choose cooler colors to help convey sadness. The photograph "Childhood Tree" captures the free flowing movement of the willow tree. To show movement I angled my camera upward to see more of the leaves detail, and structure. I used adjustments to increase the saturation and sharpness, to help convey free spirit and peaceful feeling. Taking the photographs, I found it difficult to get the best angle with out background noise. Although the weather was partly windy it helped contribute to the movement in my photographs.
Neon Starburst
Light Shines through darkness
The photographs were taken in my backyard where a bundle of different plants and trees grow. The photo's are close up of a huge that blossoms yellow flowers in the spring. I choose to photograph this because of how vibrant the flowers color is , I also like and find the the shape of the flowers interesting. I used bright colors when editing to convey happiness and excitement. These photographs in particular were difficult, because their was a drainage pipe at the base of the bush, which is a manmade object. I had to angle my camera very carefully so I would get the pipe at the bottom, or the back of my house.
Mixed Emotion
Pillow Pink
The pink lushes flowers are on a tree next to my neighborhood nature center. I choose to photograph this tree because I loved the colors and different textures in the tree. First looking at the tree I thought of a baby but, as I began to photograph it I felt a dreaminess. Working off that feeling I used a mixture of cool and warm cooler to covey a dreamy and head in the clouds feeling. I didn't face a lot of struggles photography this try, the only thing that was difficult was focusing on the detail of each flower.
Misery
Nature Ligment
I photographed a bush of branches mainly because it was odd looking and kind of ugly. I liked the contrast of how brown and dead looking the bush was in a forest of freshly sprouted colorful plants. Each title is ties into the emotion and imagination I was experiencing from this unfortunate looking bush. First I felt sad because of how brown and dead the photographed looked they adding the monet colors gave it misery. Second photograph I thought in more detail and I saw nature as a human, and I imagined these thin tangled up branches to be the ligaments holding everything together. I struggled to find interest when taking these photos, but when I changed my thought process there became more meaning and my photos were better.
Forest Fire
Almost Basic
These photos are of purple flowers I found in a nature center. The first photograph I added a very red wouldn't, so the colors wouldn't be similar. As a result it produced a fir red, giving off the feeling or burning or hot. The second photo I thought was very basic, something overused but when I saw the brown leaves I saw was diversity. I found the further I moved from the flowers the more ray beams of sun I saw reflected off, which help capture a better photo.
